High quality consultancy run by former hedge fund economists seeks to continue it's rapid growth by adding an economist with 2-5 years of experience.
You would work closely with the chief economist in London, while others are based in Europe and HK.The research output is highly customised, and part of a 'high-touch' service to high-paying major hedge fund clients, typically a minimum of $5bn AUM before they can subscribe.
  • This firm does not employ sales people and is under the radar to the wider market.
  • The role would involve developing a daily note and talking to client on blomberg etc
  • You will work closely with one of the highest regarded names in financial market economics.
You should have
2-5 years in a bank or similar
strong economist skills and understanding of the global data cycle etc.
A desire to outperform consensus analysis, and outperform central bank forecasts themselves.
